Confidence – Freedom to Be Yourself

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13

Do you believe that you are acceptable? Do you believe that you are able? Satan wants you to he insecure, fearful, and always following the crowd. But God wants individuality, confidence, and for you to be secure in Him!

What is confidence? It is trust or faith, a feeling of assurance, especially self-assurance. If I put my confidence in people, then I’m placing my trust and faith in them. But if I put my confidence in God, then I’m placing my trust and faith in Him.

It is important for us to learn who we aren’t in ourselves and who we are in Christ. Jesus says in John 15:5 that …apart from Me…you can do nothing. However, with God, it doesn’t matter what we are in the natural-as long as He is with us, we are more than enough, more than conquerors!
