Foundations of Leadership

Have you ever wondered what is takes to become a successful leader? Does character matter or can a person’s gifts take them to the top? God’s perspective is different than man’s. Often, because of a lack of character, those who seem most likely to be leaders are not those God chooses. In Moses’ day, Aaron and Hur seemed the most logical candidates to succeed Moses, but God chose Joshua. Character will take us where gifts cannot sustain us. Understanding authority and submission is an important key to leadership and learning to use our authority is vital.
