The Wandering, Wondering Mind

What do you have on your mind? Do you ever have difficulty with wandering thoughts? Does your mind have a habit of wandering off to the urgent circumstances of the moment, even though you would rather be thinking about something more pleasant?

Don’t be discouraged! With the grace of God and determination, you can win control of your mind. The Bible instructs us in Philippians 4:8 to think about things that are true, worthy of reverence, honorable and seemly, just, pure, lovely and lovable, kind, winsome and gracious, virtuous and excellent, In fact, it concludes by saying whatever is worthy of praise, think about that!

This four-message series will help you understand how to train your mind to think good thoughts by replacing destructive, negative thinking with positive, godly thoughts. Keep your eyes (and mind) on Jesus!

• “Self-Talk” & “Misbeliefs”—Negative thoughts about yourself can hinder your Christian walk. Learn to think like God thinks about you! He sees your potential!
